Did any of you try to register for Philmont today? We (the secretary in the
council office and I) spent from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. today before I finally
was able to get through. When I did I was told that 1996 was all filled up!
We accepted a spot on the waiting list(number 65) for the date we wanted. Our
council has had a Philmont contingent every even numbered year since 1970. It
looks like our streak may come to an end. I understand the problem, but I'm
still disappointed.
