Another Wood Badge Course

Chuck Bramlet ("ELL447::BRAMLET"@ECC6.ATENG.AZ.HONEYWELL.COM)
Mon, 3 Apr 1995 10:17:04 -0700

I have had this on my desk for about a week, and have not been able to get
it posted, because of project closing, and forgetting when I _did_ get a
minute. :S) (My sheepish grin, again).

I have seen a number of postings on Wood Badge courses that are being
offerred, but most of them seem to be North or East. If you have been
waiting for one in the Southwest, here's your chance.

Also, please _don't_ contact me. I will only have to refer you to Frank.

Grand Canyon Council will be offering a week long Wood Badge course this
summer. The course dates are June 10 to June 17, and it will be held at
Camp Raymond, near Flagstaff.

There will be a precourse meeting at the Heard Scout Pueblo (in Phoenix)
on May 13, from 8:00 am to Noon.

To qualify for this course, you need:
1) Completed "Fast Start Training" (Cub Scout, Boy Scouit, or Explorer
Leader.
2) Completed Scout Leader Fundamentals Training (CS, BS, EL)
This is preferrably in the area that you are now working.
3) Have enough experience in Scouting to have a good "working knowledge"
of the Scouting program.
4) Fill out an "Acceptance of Invitation" form.

Cost $150 - Deposit $30 to hold your place. Balance due 30 days prior to
course start.
