Barb,
I believe the Class "A" uniform refers to the uniform you described
with the possible addition of uniform pants or shorts & socks, although in my
experience the pants/shorts & socks are optional. A Class "B" uniform usually
refers to a scout T-shirt with pants/shorts & socks.
