Finally, Scouting on the Internet

Hello Electronic Scouters!

Here it is...the long awaited Scouting on the Internet. This exhaustive
paper is the result of a lot of research, and the contributions of a lot of
people. Thanks to all. Where I could identify the source, I gave you
credit. I've probably left a few things out, probably made some mistakes.
If you are so inclined to this Internet stuff, please download it from the
Scouts-L Archive, read it and send me corrections.

This thing is long. It is a 20 pags long MS Word document, using Monoco
9pt. The MS Word document will be uploaded to pluto and Scouts-L after
incorporation of corrections. In fact, it is so long that I cannot post it
as one or two messages to the list. Download a text only version (not MS
Word) by sending a message to listserv@tcubvm.is.tcu.edu, of the form GET
SCOUTFAQ SCT_INET SCOUTS-L .

Paragraphs are indented in the properly formatted MS Word document. To
read this plain-text document, you need a non-proportional font, such as
Courier or Monoco.

You are free to use bits and pieces of this document freely. If you use
the whole thing for some purpose, like a Roundtable handout, etc, I'd
appreciate it if you would credit it appropriately.

Yours in Electronic Scouting...
