Our troop has the Patrols do their own meals at camp. This
provides a sort of "family time" for the Patrol ideally. If there is
trouble making a meal (we can usually tell from the loud arguing <g>)
one of us will go over and provide a calming influence.
My best cooking experience has been at some recent Rover camps.
We have a real good crowd right now, and we are all getting into the
habit of contributing to each others cooking experiments. We've had
some interesting chocolate brownies already, and a Pathfinder Company
camped next door to us once and shared their homemade ice cream.
mmmmm.
