We do a gourmet cooking weekend where each patrol
cooks 3 meals (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) using
coleman backpacking stoves and normal backpack
cooking equipment.
The adults are the judges and the intent is TO IMPRESS
the heck out of them.
we offer prizes. (Simple camping items like plastic backpacking cook set ($3),
cleanup kits, ...

Some boys have brought tablecloths, musical instruments
to serinade their "guests". This side stuff is
in jest but the team building really works well.
We use cabins on this trip to have them concentrate on the food.
