The following is a retype of a fax I received from a friend about this
year's New Jersey Kinus.
9th Annual N.J. Boy Scout Kinus
Memorial Day Weekend 1995, Friday May 26 thhrough Monday May 30
Bring the whole family 10 meals included
Come for Shabat Stay for the weekend
Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, Blairstown, New Jersey
Sponsored by the New Jersey Jewish Committee on Scouting
All the exciting activities you've come to expect from the New Jersey
Kinus, plus extras available due to No-Be's great location: fishing,
boating, backpacking and hiking on the Appalachian Trail and/or to
the Delaware Water Gap.
Price: $25 per person before May 1, $30 per person after May 1. Price
included all meals betginning with Shabbat dinner through Sunday lunch,
glatt kosher catered and served in dining hall. From lunch Sunday
through lunch Monday, food suitable for patrol cooking, backpacking or
"on the water" will be availble at no extra cost, if requested in advance.
Limited number of lean-tos are available. Cabins for families available
at $5 extra per person.
Special Kinus patch and patch trading, campfires.
Shabbat activities include services, Ner Tamid introduction, discussion
and learning groups, sports, marsh and stream ecology, nature walk,,
shomer shabbat camping demonstration.
On Sunday and Monday,, additional Scouting activities will be available,
such as: real cooking demonstations and practice, catch-and-release
fishing, pioneering and orienteering, knots and lashing, tote`n chip, and
more sports. And hikes, backpacking, boating -- and Delaware outings.
Boat: Rafting and canoeing. Rafting on rapids or canoeing on flat water on
the Delaware River is avalable separetely and at extra cost Sunday or
Monday. Best section includes eagles, osprey and beaver lodges. Cost
varies depending on the number of people who sign up. Indicate
clearly how many people are interested in canoeing or rafting.
Scouts are encouraged to offer help and ideas for the program. Adults

(set-up, eruv, kitchen and especially clean-up) call.
Second-year Webelos Scouts may attend with a parent or even better, bring
the whole family and see what Boy Scouts will be like.
