Welcome to Scouts-L, Matt. With your background, I'm sure that there's
plenty of wisdom and experience you'll be able to share with us.
>I am once again the CC and also the ASM incharge of
>first year scouts getting them from Webloes to 1st class.
Minor point, Matt. I know what you mean, but once they have crossed that
bridge into the troop, they are no longer Webelos, but New Scouts. They
have taken a big step; don't refer to where they've been, but where they
are going.
>I have served in the Orange County Council, the Inland Empire Council and
>now that I live in Gilroy (The Garlic Capital of the World) I am in the
>Santa Clara County Council here in Silicon Valley.
Welcome to Northern California. The weather here is (usually) much nicer
than down south. Before they moved the freeway outside of town, Gilroy
was one of my favorite places to drive through.
>I am collecting patches from around the world but am most interested in
>patches from Germany at this time.
If you have the opportunity to scan some of your favorite patches and to
put the images on the World Wide Web, please let me know so that I can
include pointers to them in the Virtual Patch Collection:
