I've been lurking around the list for some time now and figured it's about
time to participate a little more actively. I'll begin with an into. My name i
s
Mike Elliott. I have been involved inscouting for about six years, 3.5 as
an ASM and the last 2 as SM of Troop 73 in
Salinas, CA.. I have a fairly large (28 scouts and 6 leaders) and active
troop. The 2 newest ASM's are the most recent Eagle Scouts from the
troop who also turned 18. My son is one these two young men. His
Eagle
Court is planned for April 22.
I've found the list very informative and look forward to participating.
Any ideas for making an Eagle Court especially memorable will be
appreciated. My other ASM will be holding his Eagle court very soon
also. Plus I have 3 Star and 2 Life Scouts who are expected to obtain
Eagle within the next 18 months.

YIS
Mike Elliott
