Matter of fact I do... go get yourself a cardboard tube (paper towel tube
works best) give it to the kid to look through. Explain to him that this
is an exercise in focus and to imagine this tube when he deals with the
baseball thing....nothing matters outside of what you can see in this
tube. That was one of the most significant lessons I learned as a kid.
try it ....it might work for him as well.
