Don,
There are many specifics for ceremonies & SM minutes in Woods Wisdom.
Perhaps most important is to make the evening a special meeting of the Troop,
i.e., Full Dress Uniform, maybe a special Opening and Closing, Advancement
Recognition Ceremonies, SM minute (selected by the Scoutmaster), and some
refreshments to allow socialization for the adults. Be sure to promote the
evening in advance with all the parents and be sure you recognize all awards,
advancement, & Troop activities since the last COH. Don't forget to promote
Troop planned activities & perhaps put a plug in for SME.
