Dose the scouts-l listserv also offer an index option?
I have used this option with other mailing lists, and while the digest option
offers a reduction in number of messages received, You still have the volume to
deal with (I beleive this was the complaint of the original poster).
The index option send an index of messages posted and then the subscriber can
reply and ask for only those which he is interested in. The only downfall of
this is some posts have pore discriptive subject lines, such as re:digest ...
