Re the Chief Scout and Supream Chief of the Fire. For his position very
likely the fairly plain jane uniform may be the best choice and may be BSA
policy. If he was to wear a Lodge Flap, which one would he wear? If he had
on one of my Lodge Flaps, it might make me happy, but you can bet it would
upset a lot of other folks from other lodges.
Craig or Mike might correct me on this, but in general I believe that it is
BSA policy that the professionals not wear too much of the fancy stuff, but
to leave that for the volunteers and to make an effort to insure that they
do not out shine any volunteer.
