Settummanque responds well as usual but our council registrar (NCAC) assures
me that she can and only occasionally does post dual council and both types
of reserve registration. It is not widely advertised and certainly not
encourage because as you pointed out the program works best where every adult
is actively involved with the units that serve the youth - other
registrations moving up the line should flow from that connection. A good
example is our current National B.S.A. President, Norman Augustine, who still
is on the Troop Committee where is son did his scouting.
