Re: Adult Fundraising in GSUSA

Last year, Huron Valley GS Council in Michigan had its second annual
Juliette Low Golf Open. The event was completely adult run with a
committee of two council staff and about 8 adult volunteers.

Since then I have moved to Western Mass GS Council. Here they are
considering a couple of options 1) a golf tourney and 2) something
related to the arts perhaps an exhibit and auction.

I like the idea of an "alumnae" organization. I think this was part of
what was in mind when the Gold Alliance was created at the last National
Meeting. They were also concerned with mentoring programs. I haven't
heard any specifics about the Gold Alliance in either of the Councils
I've been in since then.
