uniform query: was Uniform Wear Complaint

I was interested to read about the BSA uniform.(I'm writing from
Ireland.) Over here, when scouts are on an activity the only part of their
uniform they must wear is the neckerchief. Wearing of the rest of the uniform
on an activity (unless it was a formal ceremony etc.) would be discouraged. Of
course, we do not have class A and B uniforms. Anyway, just another bit of
trivia (but not useless information) that's now in your heads so you're stuck
with it :-)
I'm slowly becoming better informed about the world of scouting. Thanks
