Eagle Letter from the President

I was at an Eagle Court of Honor last month. The young man had all his
letters of congratulation on display on a table in the room used for the
reception. The President sent a form CARD. The Vice-President sent a
form Letter. So did the governor, senators, and congressmen. It was
a disappointment to me that the President's note was just a card - it
was very obvious when displayed next to the other letters. Someone else
mentioned earlier that this was the same card used by Presidents Bush and
Reagan. I still think it would have been more appropriate to send a form
letter than a form CARD! Just my $0.02 worth.
