Subject: Philmont Trail Crew

Scouts and Scouters!!!!

Anybody!!! Please pass the word on to the units, especially in
the Western Region, for people to send in applications. You can get one
from your lodge, or call the NAt'l office (214-580-2000) and get one sent
to you. HOWEVER, DUE DATE IS ON THE 10TH OF MARCH!!!! There is still
time and you may be able to get an extension from the NAt'l
Assoc.Director if you ask nicely. No Guarentees!!!

For just $100, an arrowman gets two weeks at Philmont, which is
about 30% the price of that type of deal. This is one of the most
beneficial programs for an youth to go through as an individual that the
OA has ever had. Please get the word out, because Philmont has a waiting
list of 13,000(!!!!) people, so if your unit isn't going to the ranch,
this would be a great way for some of your arrowmen unit members to be a
part of the awesome Phlmont experience.

Just get the guys out there. This is an opportunity that will
never come again. I HAVE MADE THE COMMITMENT TO GIVE MY SERVICE TO
PHILMONT FOR THIS PROGRAM BECAUSE I KNOW IT WILL NEVER COME AGAIN!!!!!

Live your dreams...

P.S. Could someone please forward this message to the scouting list for
posting? We want everyone to get the chance to be a part of the adventure!!!
