Apology

Randy,

I want to apologize about my response to your Council Camporee. I am
running several days behind on going thru the digests. In your
original posting, it didn't seem (to me) that there was any youth involvement
in the Camporee planning process. I noted in Saturday's digest that
you do indicate involvement by the OA and the Explorers.

I still question whether a huge Camporee really serves the individual
patrols and Scouts more than District Camporees where it seems they
could get a better handle on the planning process and where more
opportunities exist for individual Scouts to learn about planning.
A smaller Camporee might also have more margin for errors in planning
without major impacts.

I don't mean to seem close-minded about it, and I am willing to be
convinced otherwise.

YIS
