Susan ...
Talk to your Assistant District Commissioner or District Exective NOW if
not sooner.
Two deep leadership is mandatory. Period.
The program may <not> be altered except where specified in the relevant
handbooks. Start with " Advancement Guidelines " ... if correct
procedures are not followed some kid is likely to get his Eagle packet
bounced a few years down the road , and that causes a lot of heartache.
If safety procedures / YPP are not followed you are putting all the
adults at risk in terms of personal liability in the event of any
accident or incident. The rules are there to be obeyed ... and if your
troop don't follow BSA procedures don't expect BSA to clear up when the
sauce hits the fan.
