a few questions.

Hello,

I have a few questions, but first I would like to wish you a merry
Chrismas and a happy newyear.

Now about scouting:.

1.
Last month I looked at some of the files that are archived on the
Listserver of Scouts-l. I saw the files about 'Woods wisdom', and I found
that it is a list and a set of reference-numbers. Are these
numbers page-numbers of a specific BSA-Scouting-publication or something
else?

2.
In some of the postings here on scouts-l we are talking about a 'co-ed'
program. I thought that it meant that both boys and girls can be
involved in the activities.
Yesterday I saw someone use the term 'co-ed' in a context
refering to Girls-only (no, it was not on scouts-l, but because I saw the
term here a few times, I ask). Now my question:
What does the term 'co-ed' exactly mean. Is it an abbreviation of
'co-education'? Does 'co-ed' mean that both boys AND girls are allowed,
or can it be used in a way referring only to girls? It may seem a strange
question, but it will help my understanding of the posts on Scouts-l where
this matter is discussed. Same for the next question.

3.
Another linguistic question: I have seen posts about the term
'2-deep-leadership'. What does this cover? Is it about a special set of
laws/rules a scouter has to follow or something else? Is this a term used
by the BSA or do other countries have alse 2-deep-things.

Yours in Scouting,

Olaf.
