It was President Teddy Roosevelt that said that.
Truman's best known quote was "The Buck Stops Here"

We have had pretty good luck in the schools here in Cleveland, and
in most suburbs, anlthough very few units are chartered to PTA's etc. now.

For our School Night for Scouting Recruiting drive, the 1st grade
teacher was our best recruiter. We did fine this year.

In the USA, the term "Woggle" is used primarily for the Turk's Head
slide given with the Wood Badge Beads and Neckerchief.
In many other places, it is synonymous with "Neckerchief Slide"

Please USE this handout, or ask here if there is any question about
activities which should be avoided due to the Jewish Holidays, and ask
about other religions as well. There is nothing more frustrating to me to
find that a major Council or district activity is planned which my Scouts
can not attend because of a major conflict with religious events. It's too
bad a concientious leader will avoid scheduling a camporee, for example, on
Easter, but will schedule it for the following week, which may be during
Passover.

Thanks for the kudos. I, and I think most of us, appreciate the efforts
you take to keep us informed. It is gratifying to see a "PRO" on line.

On a completely different and personal note:

To one and all, Have a very happy holiday season.

Yours in Scouting,
