I missed the orginal post that this is a responce to, but that won't
stop me from commenting. I don't know about California in general, but
I have two examples of Scouting being supported by public schools, I know
of lots of support for Scouting by private schools in this area. I'm the
Scoutmaster of a troop who meets in the cafeteria of a public elementary
school. Also I'm the Unit Commisioner for a pack that is charter by an
elementary school and has the pack meetings in the school's cafeteria.
These are both in Sunnyvale, California.
