Sarah,
I could not agree with you more. I was such a compliant child(People
who know me are laughing hysterically at this moment), that my parents
sent me away to Military School at fourth grade. Eventhough I may not be
dyslexic I am ADD. I remember quite vividly the pain I went through in my
childhood years. I remember comments and words that pierced to the very
core of my soul. Later in life (regretfully) I reacted upon that. Things
are much different in the last ten years. I am extremely protective of
'my boys'. If they have a problem with school we talk about it. I do hold
them accountable to doing their finest...their best. The boys are the
best determiners of the best...and they are after all being
scouts, trustworthy. Thankyou for your input to this forum, it has made
me stop and think, and reevaluate.
