I know I am not Len, but there has been some discussion on Dads on
campouts on the Prodigy Girl Scout BB. The feeling has been much the
same. They can come along as long as they don't interfer and work along
with the program. More of the discussion seemed to be on sleeping
arrangements and whether Dads actually felt welcome.
I have the feeling that Girl Scouting provides better training in these
areas. Also, there seem to be very few Girl Scout adults participating
in this news group. The last Girl Scout Leader magazine gave a boost to
electronic Girl Scouting, but specifically mentioned Prodigy, Compuserve,
Genie and AOL. No mention of the internet. I have been trying to spread
the word. It would definitely be nice to get more participation of Girl
Scout and Girl Guide adulst here.
