Good evening fellow Scouters,
I apologize for waiting before I wrote my introduction.
I joined the Scouting movement as a child in 1975, and was a WEBELO Scout and
stayed one year as a Boy Scout. While I was stationed in Ramstein, Germany,
I became a WEBELOs Leader for Pack 12 in 1988. While an adult Scouter, I
completed my Cub Scout Leader Basic Training and Webelos Leader Training. In
1989, I also became an ASM for Troop 12 and then Troop 156, and in 1989
Completed Scoutmaster Basic Training.
I was then transferred to Offutt AFB, NE, where I belonged to Wagon Wheel
District as a Scoutmaster. There I took a week off of work and traveled to
Colorado, where I became an Awesome Antelope......NC-171.
In 1994, I was transferred to the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Here I tried
the District Committee and received such flack I decided to help out my Eagle
Scout Son's Troop as a committee member.
I am not trying to use this list as a complaint ground, but as a source to
enlighten the Scouting Spirit back inside me, which was removed here.
If anyone on the list knows me from my other locations in the world, feel
free to e-mail me and say hi!
Yours in Scouting,
Ed Roberts, Sgt, USAF
