Consider yourself lucky that you have a son who can meet the academic
challenges that are dealt to him. I have a learning disabled son who
could have come to feel very bad about himself after being subjected to
the constant barrage of poor grades since the age of 6. There were plenty
of F's and D's were considered victories.
I got him involved in Scouting because he is NOT stupid, NOT incapable
and needed a place to prove that to himself and his peers.
