Yes, the Trails End popcorn is expensive. No, it is NOT overpriced. If
you compare to supermarket items you are not taking into account the fact
that the Trails End product is much much better quality than the stuff in
the tins at Walmart. I have sampled both, and frankly would not feed the
stuff from Walmart to my dog. Add to that the 'feel good factor' that
people get from buying from the Scouts plus the 'good guy factor' that
they benefit from when the give Trails End popcorn as a gift.
That would explain why a local corporation ordered about $40,000 of
holiday tins to be given to employees as a holiday gift.
