this is the first time I'm posting here, hope it gets through.
Regarding parents at camps, our troop has a strict policy:
NO WAY !
Camps and/or hikes are a welcome chance for the scouts to get away
from the day-to-day misery with their parents, to do _their_ own
thing.
IMHO, they need such chances to become responsible persons, there are
already too many things they are not allowed to work out themselves.

Any mistakes are _mine_ only, but not protected by Copyright Law.
