It's definitely a hard question to give a direct answer to, but
my answer is for the most part there is not a large harm. Until they have
been in boy scouting a while though they must not be the leader in
charge (that goes for all recently become Boy Scout Leaders). In such
situations, they have a tendency to try to run things rather than letting
the boys do so. They don't allow them to make mistakes, and just in
general "mother" their boys. They need to learn the philosophy of
scouting, so that they'll understand they're role. Basically, like any
other leader, they need to learn to sit back and watch.
