I only have 5 answers to this:

YES YES YES YES YES

A few things need to be explained to her though:

1. The BOYS run the camp, not MOM. Yup, the spatula is NOT
to be touched by her unless a scout will be injured.

2. Mom should find another mom to bring along. At Summer camp, we
have 2 moms that have been going for a couple of years for a night
and they tent together. It puts a different perspective on the camp
but it works very well.

3. Have fun.. One of our moms likes to backpack and camps very well.
She has a lot of experience but her fiance doesn't really like it.
She is a single mom and doing very well by her son. I think she
finds it an uplifting experience because she knows she is accepted
in what could be percieved as a male dominated environment.

4. She needs to realize that this is an education environment where
they make mistakes. if she expects perfection, have her stay home.
She will get frustrated and so will the boys.
