No we do not have any academic requirements for any positions in our
troop. I look at how they function in the troop and if the are progressing
or not and where they need help. I believe that a person should have
a "safe" harbour where they have a positive feeling about themselves.
There is something going on at school or in this persons life at the
present time which is affecting his performace at school. Try to get
someone that he trusts, to talk to him and find out what is the problem.
But do not relief him of his position because of his academic performace.
