(a great list of programs and events which would net military persons
the award...I'm forwarding a copy to my military "higher headquarters"
because they were under the impression that the *only* programs that
the award could go to are participants in "official command-sponsered
programs, like Scouting and youth activities programs". I was unable
to sway them otherwise, and the Army's "Award guru" at the Hoffman
Complex was unable to send me a copy of ALL of the organizations that
would qualify. Thanks again, Al!!)

I was counting 1993 and 1994 together in the recommendations; the
approving authority (125th ARCOM) is counting starting 1 Janurary
1993. I thought that I saw 199_2_ ,though, on the message that I've
got in my box at the Center.

I take seven recommendations down with me on Friday for the Garrison
Commander's signature, and then to send them to the ARCOM for
approval. Hopefully, everything will go well and we'll make our first
presenatations in the springtime!
