Why Not?
First, I apologize to Lew because I am using his message
as a kickoff. I am not attaching you personally, but more
of the generic message.
I am REALLY sick of politically correctness as a constant complaint.
People are wishing (giving) "good will" in this season BUT
it appears that we no longer need to be good TAKERS of the message
UNLESS we are absolutely, positively spoken to in the exact manner
that we want.
I am REALLY tired of this foolishness.
In my son's school, we no longer have any displays of holidays
because "EVERY GROUP MUST BE EQUALLY REPRESENTED". What has happened
is that because "the boofa from glockenclimber" didn't put on a display,
no one can...
IN this season, we need to be better givers and much better takers.
If someone says "Merry Christmas" to me, return "and Happy Holidays to you"
and extend a hand. This is a far better message for the kids to see.
Have a Day!
