Webelos II Arrow

Fellow Scouters,
I attended a Ceremonies presentation at our Pow Wow this fall
where we were shown what I would call a Cub Scout "history" arrow that can
be presented to Webelos II when they receive their Arrow of Light award.
It was a "real" arrow with various colored stripes along the shaft that
recounted that scout's Cub Scout history. I think there was an orange
stripe for being a Tiger scout; then there might have been a Bobcat
stripe; then a group of stripes to reflect his Wolf, Bear & Webelos
achievements (each rank's stripes grouped and separated from the next by a
larger distance).
The only colors I can remember are the Tiger orange and the gold &
silver for the Wolf & Bear arrow points. Are there any BSA dictated or
suggested colors? Also, if anyone has used this symbolic award, did you
use paint, tape, ribbon or what worked best? The next AOL ceremony is
scheduled for January, but we need extra lead time to make the arrows.
