Re: Help Me Keep That Woman

I have been watching this discussion develop and have been
surprised at all the "don't push her" comments. Obviously, one should not
push her into the position. Why cannot she simply be told that as the
Cubmaster you believe she is qualified and have faith in her ability to
work in the position, but if she does not feel comfortable she may work
in a variety of other positions. Also don't forget that when it comes to
the occasional campout many fathers are more than willing to come help
out. She needs to know this. An older Den chief might also boot her
confidence. The Den chief must be one who is mature enough to not be part
of "the problem" and knowledgeable enough to be part of "the solution."
