Scouting and Freemasonry

A friend of mine, who is also an Historian of Scouting, is starting a
work on the relationship between Scouting and Freemasonry.
It is widely known that the Lord Baden Powell was a Mason, and some
links (such as the heavy reliance on symbolisms in both) are pretty
evident.
However, he would like to find any previous works on this, and when I
mentioned him the power of the 'Net he asked me to try to probe it.
Can anyone give me any pointers to sources on this
relationship?
