Charles,
Have you thought of being up front with the boy? It seems to work for
me... I have in my Troop a boy who wanted to transfer from a Troop in our
district that has a Scoutmaster that is above all Scoutmasters. He
happens to be a friend of mine. Anyhow the boy was a "sometimes come"
with my buddy and his Troop but, I made some requirements on the boy if I
accepted his transfer. 1, was a letter that he talked with his
Scoutmaster addressed to me. 2, that his attendence was paramount. Know
what? I have not had ANY problems with him.. He understood the
expectations required of him.
