When one of our assistant scoutmasters was trying one of these programs
several years ago we found an interesting shortcoming. We had an autistic
scout who was remaining on the roles beyond his 18th birthday, according
to BSA policy. The software would not except his birthdate.
It seems to me that it is alright to warn in this situation, since in most
cases it would be a typo, but there should be a "Yes, that's right" option.
