Re: Walton's "Four-Pound Binder"

Jon, Welcome back!! We all missed you here!

Nope, I haven't been gone on a vacation...I've let my mail go for a
week here while we've been moving boxes of papers and books from one
place to the other. I had up until the day before yesterday (sunday),
1739 mail messages, of which only 548 can be accounted from Scouts-L.
The rest came from the APO-l list (172) and from the WordPerfect 5.1
list (74) and the remainder were ALL personal mail. I'm working on it
and trying to answer some of it via America Online {tm} while I can.

(Greg B....I've got your note!)

Let's see...you asked about the "four-punder" contents. I'll dig up
what I've posted and repost it here, since there's a LOT of
commissioner news and sharing going on here recently. I'll do it
tonight while I have the time to find it and the resources to find it
(not to mention a fresh pot of coffee which is calling me to drink it
all).

Just to give everyone a brief update, the nineteen boxes in the middle
of the living room has been pared downward to three large ones; the
boxes of the books still in my car that I've been driving to and from
work are STILL there and I'll be getting those out from time to time
in the day ahead. I've held off posting Andrew's entry from my book
because to tell you all the truth, I've misplaced my manuscript among
the moving. It's here someplace, and I'll post that and a good
Scouting story about the fall roundup in Kentucky in the coming days.
I'll also find the Scouting book which describes the history of the
Eagle (even though that there were others that found the information
requested!)

Don't worry...I've talked to my system administrator and he's
increased me yet again to 15000 blocks so that I can download and
answer a lot of mail. And since I don't work tomorrow, you KNOW what
Scouts-L will contain a LOT of (Mike Walton replies to mail).

I'll find the contents as soon as I can find it on my diskettes!
I'll also post it to the archives (I thought that I did, but I
couldn't find it earlier!) as well!!

Settummanque!
