This sounds like it was a great event. The only thing I might add to
this is the paragraph above. It seems to me that this would be a most
appropriate time to remember those who serve in times of peace.
Unfortunate though it may be in some respects, we must always remember
that our way of life is not only protected by those who have fought and
died, but also by those who have stood ready and willing to fight and die
even though they were not called upon to do so.

I'm not trying to diminish the effect of the event, or the importance of
the issues addressed in the narration, so please, don't read that into my
post.
