Re: Ashley Book of Knots

Fred (et. al.) - A resource I found at R.E.I. was a Knott Game. There are =
3 or 4 versions, but the one I picked up at $4.95 was targeted for camping =
and Scouts. It includes 50 knotts that are applicable to camping and =
scouting activities. Each knott is diagramed on a card (size of a regular =
playing card) with a point value associated with it. Included is two =
dowels and a section of rope to use.

While it's a great game for teaching boys (especially Webelos) knotts, I =
keep it with me so as to refresh my memory when I forget whether the =
rabbit goes into the hole or out of the hole in the bowline.

I don't have the manufactures name with me, but I'll get it out tonight =
and drop a message tomorrow.

In Scouting . . .

Peter
