Kevin, we had an academic group visit campus this summer. They had purchased
a "Delta-Pass" which I understand allowed them to fly anywhere Delta Airlines
flew in the contiguous 48 states for a 30-day period. This was the first I
had heard of this type of ticket but you might want to investigate. I know
we can purchase Eurail passes here that allow unlimited rail travel in Europe.
But, who knows what the options will be in 1997. The BSA national jamboree
cycle would have a Jamboree in 1997. You might want to consider that option.
Getting space at Philmont is always easier in a Jamboree year if that's what
you want to do.

I don't know where I will be in '97 but I'd be glad to try to coordinate
something with your unit.
