Back from camp

I have just returned from a week at Cedarlands Scout Reservation in the heart
of the Adirondacks.
After a two year absence, the place is just as beautiful as I recalled. The
boys had a great time, rock climbing, hiking to one of the mountains in camp,
mountain biking and merit badge work. They all worked well together and had a
very successful week.
High point of the week (for me at least) was sitting on the lake shore at 2 AM
on a clear night watching the meteor shower with the call of the loons as soft
background music.
A successful end to a somewhat shaky first year as SM. Weeks like this make
it all worth while.
