If he is just a few pieces of paper away from Eagle and has worked staff
positions at camp, then he has already provided leadership to other
Scouts, why do they necessarily have to be younger Scouts? Let him go to
the new troop and have his adventures. He may well end up providing
leadership to that troop. As for getting the chance to give something
back to Scouting, I guess he will probably be providing us with some new
Cubs in a decade or two. Remind him of his debt to Scouting then and you
will be doing all of us CMs a favor.
