Re: A new project

Mike,

I agree with the "save for camp costs" theory. In fact, one of the Cubs in
my den is also the son of a neighbor. I asked him to pick up my mail and
papers recently while we were out of town. I wanted to pay him an
appropriate amount, but his parents said no, it wasn't Scout-like. I
insisted by explaining that it WAS Scout-like to earn one's way to camp.
They backed down then, and let him have the money to put towards camp. I
worked my way through two international Scout camps, and half a dozen
resident camps. It builds pride!

KEEP ON SCOUTING!
