I started a venture program about six months ago, it is still having
some basic organization problems but hopefully not for to much longer.
I just got back from the walking woodbadge at philmont and to get the
program off the ground and boy run wound up being one of my ticket items.
If you want to email me direct I can give you some ideas of what have
been the ups and downs of my program todate. Talbott@oasys.dt.navy.mil.
Far as I know there isn't any specific items that is needed by your
local council. As long as the program meets the BSA specs. and is on
the list of BSA doable activities and all outings have trip tickets
submitted and approved by your council you should be good to go.
Where are you at if you're close to us our groups may be able to get
together. I'm planning a pioneering weekend in the Sep to Nov time frame
where we will learn and built some bridges.
