(Ed gives some GREAT hints...if you would please resend a copy with
those (and other) comments, I am SURE that this would be an excellent
addition to our archives. You need to send a copy to Jon Edison
(Edison@tcubvm.is.tcu.edu) in order to have it placed in our archives.
I'm keeping a personal copy because I'm great at the campcraft stuff
but TERRIBLE with the old handicrafts! This will help out a lot of
Scouters here greatly!
If you don't mind, I'm going to send a copy of your "national notes"
to Roy Bates, whom presently serves as one of the Associate Directors
in the BSA's Health and Safety Division. While I am sure that they've
thought out this aspect of camp safety, it won't hurt them to be
"joustled" once more, especially from a longtime carver as yourself.
I'll send it (unless you tell me NOT to) on my normal Friday morning
run.... )
