Thanks to those whom have already sent their responses to us this
morning. With all new ventures, we have already received critical
comments, and the largest of them all centered around the subject
question.

The posting was an attempt to reach the highest level of "internet
scouters" found on all of the present forums which Scouts and
Scouters, past or present, can be found. Our apologies if these
messages seem to be inappropriate to those whom feel that this kind
of information has little to do with the purpose of the lists. Our
opinion, however, is that someone from your community *is* interested
and should be aware that they can obtain items which show their support
of "electronic Scouting".

Again, there will be NO public offerings over this list or the others.
Please do not ASK for "patch purchases", "jackets/hat/tees" purchases,
or the like. We understand that in the past, many individuals have done
so and even have listed the prices. We choose not to do so, and
instead, will send directed e-mail (and s-mail) ONLY to those
interested in those items. In this way, we are conserving space on
these lists for what they were designed for, and more importantly, we
can "tailor" the interest letters to those that are truly interested
in what we will be offering.

We hope that this way of doing things will be consistant with our
participation on these forums, and in consideration for those few
Scouters here that clearly have no interest whatsoever in "internet
Scouting".

Again, thank you for your support and be assured that if you send mail
to us, we will respond quickly and respectfully to you as possible.
Jessiann and I are extremely tickled at the possibility of being able
to be of service to Scouters and Scouts worldwide from this tiny
place in southern Kentucky!
