While this is all true, I only wear my beaded sash in costume. Costumes
aren't official BSA uniforms, so, my POV is that National's restriction
doesn't necessarily apply so long as the spirit of purpose and the OA in
particular is maintained. (Then again, as an advisor, when am ever in
costume any more?)
